How do I find a running buddy?
Finding a running buddy on Rund takes four steps: close a loop in your neighborhood to own land there, meet runners through a persona in the neighborhood chat that opens, reveal your profiles if you both agree, then start from the same spot and close a loop together.

You chat as a generated persona, not your real name, and your photo stays blurred.

If you both choose to reveal your profiles, you become running buddies. There is no one-sided reveal.

Does it cost anything to find a running buddy on Rund?
No. On Rund, the neighborhood chat, replying to messages and running with a buddy are free; a free account includes 50 messages a week. Starting a new private conversation with someone and unlimited messages are Rund Pro features.
When does my identity become visible on Rund?
On Rund, your identity shows only with mutual consent: when you both choose to reveal, you see each other's name and photo. Until then you stay anonymous as a persona.
Is it safe to run with someone I met in an app?

Rund's neighborhood chat brings together runners who hold land in that neighborhood. As your territory grows, neighboring chats open too, and you can meet new runners in public races hosted by approved organizers.
